IBM has won France’s largest ever outsourcing deal, a $1.2 billion contract with retailing giant Galerie Lafayette to run until 2015.
Under the terms of the 15 year deal, IBM will manage all information systems deployed by Galerie, including point of sale, customer relationship management and ERP systems.
IBM will also work with in-house IT services division Mag Info to deliver specialised consultancy services.
