Novell has released Novell Directory Services (NDS) for Solaris 2.0, the latest version of its directory services for non Novell platforms.
The networking giant released NDS for NT 2.0 late last year as part of Novell's aim to make NDS a defacto standard for directory services ahead of Microsoft's forthcoming Windows 2000 based Active Directory.
NDS for Solaris 2.0 will enable uses to log into Netware, NT and Solaris Sparc servers with the same password and user name.
