Hot Mail, Microsoft?s free email subsidiary is going global.
It has identified 24 new markets, with the UK, France, Germany, Japan and Australia being the first targets.
Hot Mail chief executive Sabeer Bhatia, this week revealed the company's growth plans during a visit to India for a local Internet World conference.
However executives at Hot Mail?s Silicon Valley headquarters were not as forthcoming, indicating they were surprised by the timing of Bhatia?s statements. A statement is promised today.
