No show is complete without a superstar and at this year's Milia 2000 he came in the form of Brazilian striker Ronaldo.
The footballer and his entourage, of which there were many, swept into Cannes to promote V-Football, Infogrames' sports action game for the Playstation console. Ronaldo, who plays club football for Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A, has apparently been close to the design of the game and is a serious gamer himself.
The impressive V-Football received the thumbs up at Milia 2000. It is as action packed as the real game and the graphics are great. It will undoubtedly be on every Playstation gamer's shopping list when it hits the shelves in April.
Infrogrames was saying nothing about how much it cost to tempt Ronaldo to the South of France, but he is apparently a personal friend of the company's president, Bruno Bonnell.
