Microsoft has taken an unspecified equity investment in Internet telephone appliance company Navitel as part of a deal to promote its Windows CE lightweight operating system.
Navitel will license Windows CE and incorporate it into all its Internet smart phones, as well as making Microsoft's Internet Explorer its standard browser for these appliances.
