A report from Reuters said that Silicon Graphics will make its long-awaited shift to the NT platform by shipping products before June.
According to the report, a senior executive at the company said that it will now move into the platform earlier, rather than later.
But, said the senior executive, Silicon Graphics has "no plans" to compete at the low end.
That begs questions whether SGI is serious about entering the market, sources said.
