AT&T has announced the immediate availability of its 'Excite Online Powered by AT&T Worldnet Service', the first in a portfolio of Web based offerings.
Through the Excite branded interface, AT&T will provide US-wide Internet access at $14.95 per month for 150 hours.
As reported on 'VNU Newswire' last month, the company will launch Internet based multimedia communications services such as anonymous voice chat, allowing users to talk live to each other over the Internet through a phone handset, but without disclosing a phone number.
AT&T will also offer Excite users access to a selection of AT&T services through a co-branded Personal Communications Center on the Excite site.
