JD Edwards has turned in a positive set of first quarter figures, with revenues up 45 per cent to $178.3 million. Net profits for the quarter ending 31 January 1998 increased 176 per cent to $6.4 million, while license fees grew 66 per cent to $68 million or 38 per cent of total turnover compared to 33 per cent in the year ago period. Service revenue grew 35 per cent to $110.3 million.
