Cisco has teamed up with Gric Communications (formerly AimQuest) in the US for Internet telephony.
Cisco declared that 1998 will be the year it pushes Internet telephony into the mainstream through partnerships, acquisitions and product development.
Officials from both companies said the deal will provide interoperability between Gric's IP telephony settlement system and Cisco's IOS (Internetwork Operating System) software.
