It has announced a new role for Alan Buckle, UK chief executive, who becomes chief operating officer of KPMG Consulting Europe.
Harald Wiedmann becomes Chairman of Europe while Rod McGeary becomes GlobalLeader.
The move comes as KPMG Consulting reveals its restructuredorganisation and processes, which it says are designed to make it into a dynamic e-business consultancy, focused on the needs of businesses in the digital age.
The reorganisation will also enable KPMG Consulting to form new partnerships and alliances for the benefit of its clients and to develop new end-to-ende-business solutions.
Alan Buckle commented: 'I am flattered to be asked to run a practice whichhas developed so strongly in recent years. I will work closely with Harald,Rod and my other European colleagues to drive the business to new heights.'

He also said: 'The new economy, which is driven by e-commerce, is the defining business change of our generation. In response, we are transforming our existing capabilities, developing solutions that address the impact of the Internet on business.
