In an attempt to become a major force in the storage market, Hewlett Packard will reportedly announce this week a rash of devices including an Intelligent Storage Server product aimed at the topical enterprise storage area network (SAN) and fibre channel market. It is unknown whether HP has developed the products itself or has licensed them from partners like EMC, Clariion and Veritas.
