IBM is to promote Internet phone services provided by IDT, according to a US report.
Under the terms of the deal IBM will include IDT?s Net2Phone software its standard Internet access kit and provide a link from its Web site for users to download the software.
Neither company will pay the other an upfront sum as part of the deal, but will instead share the revenue generated by IBM customers who take up the service.
