A group of former Compaq executives has set up a company to sell low-price PCs. The company, Monorail, will only operate in the mail order US market.
The team includes David Hocker and Nick Forlenza, who were software marketing and consumer directors at Compaq US. Other members of Monorail include Jeffrey Simpson. a former group vice president of communications at Oracle US.
