Amazon.com is increasing its collection of authorised shares to help fund future acquisitions and alliances.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Amazon said it wants to boost its number of authorised shares from 300 million to 1.5 billion. The number of authorised shares of preferred stock would also be increased from 10 million to 150 million.
