Memory company Kingston Technology said today it will open a 50,000-square foot assembly plant in either Ireland or the UK, opening the way for development agencies from both countries to bid for the business. A company representative said that will boost expansion of its business worldwide. The plant, when open, will have two to four surface mount production lines.
