A US magazine has seen the future of Microsoft Office and said it will be called Office 9, as revealed here last year.
According to US magazine Infoworld, the feature set includes NT Active Directory and the download of components on demand.
The new product, the magazine said, will also include a copy of the latest version of the extensible markup language.
But whether the further integration of Office with the operating system will meet the demands of the Department of Justice (DoJ).
There are further plans afoot, according to the US magazine. But its source, close to Microsoft's plans, refused to disclose them.
