Novell has been forced to cancel its Developernet 97 developers' conference, due to be held this week in Florida, because, it claims, it didn?t have enough time to plan for the show.
Novell first announced plans for the conference on 17 September but now says it will incorporate Developernet 97 into its next Brainshare conference, to be held on 23-28 March in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The cancellation comes at a bad time for Novell with arch-rival Microsoft?s NT operating system steadily encroaching on the company?s core Netware market.
