Compaq will introduce a range of Proliant NT servers in mid-August, which it said today will be high availability 7 x 24 machines. The machines will be unveiled on 18 August and are expected to be Intel Slot 2 upgradable. Neither Intel nor Compaq were prepared to comment on whether Deschutes technology was being pre-announced.
