Epson has added a models to its Stylus inkjet line for small and medium-sized businesses, promising far lower printing costs than conventional laser machines.
The Stylus Office B42WD systems offer built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections and can support multiple users.
The models have a capacity of up to 250 sheets, and print up to 15 black and 7.1 colour pages per minute of what the company calls "business quality" prints.
"The B42WD is ideal for small businesses wanting fast, fuss-free printing," said Epson UK micro business inkjets product manager Simon Hanly.
"It offers laser-like quality and inkjet affordability for professional results that won't bust the budget."
The systems feature quick-drying inks and an individual colour printing system that requires the replacement of depleted colours rather than entire cartridges.
The printers meet Energy Star power consumption requirements, and are due to launch on 1 February starting at £99.99.
