Internet bandwidth allocation company Packeteer has signed a distributor to launch it into the European market.
European Marketing and Distribution Extension (Emdex) of Maarsen, Netherlands has begun shipping Packeteer?s Packetshaper, a product which allows companies to assign users different network bandwidth on a priority basis.
Launched in February, Packetshaper can help companies eliminate slow downloads for some users, according to Packeteer president Michael Kawai. The firm has signed Brian Corporation to sell its products in Japan.
