Motorists will soon be able to navigate using mobile phones connected to the Internet, according to Sony.
The electronics giant said it wants to connect in-car monitors and voice recognition systems to its Internet site, Mobile Link, which it is developing in collaboration with IBM. Mobile phones will carry signals to and from moving vehicles.
The system, NVX-W900, is set for launch on 21 November.
