Financial software specialist Taxware has opened an office in Europe, its first outside the US.
Taxware has set up in Croydon, UK, to bring its calculation packages for sales, consumption and value added taxes to Europe. It has recently begun offering Internet-based worldwide tax systems.
The company has alliances with Open Market, IBM, Microsoft, Netscape spin-off Actra and Pandesic, the new SAP-Intel joint venture. Andrew Tringham will head the European operation.
