Global One, the telco alliance between Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Sprint of the US, has launched a worldwide ATM service.
The service will initially be offered in 13 countries including Belgium, Canada, Denmark and France. It will offer rates of between 1.544Mbps to 155Mbps under two categories: constant bit rate for voice and private line applications; and variable bit rate for bursty services, such as Lan interconnection.
