Misys is bolstering its credit and risk management software portfolio, with the acquisition of US software firm, C-ATS Software.
Misys, the UK?s largest listed software and services company, said it will integrate C-ATS? Carma risk management product with its own products, Global Manager/Risk Vision, to create an integrated risk analytics and credit limit management product.
The offer, worth approximately $60 million (#36 million) in cash, is for all the shares of C-ATS, and is expected to be completed in January next year. Misys believes the market for risk management software will double by 2002, from its current level of $900 million a year.
