Sun has posted a draft version of its JavaHelp specification to its Web site at http://java.sun.com/jdc. The software, which is written in Java, enables developers to incorporate online help documentation into their Java-based applets, applications, operating systems and Web pages and provides the ability to navigate, search and display help information. JavaHelp will ship as a standard extension to run on platforms that support version 2.1 of the Java Developers Kit, due by the middle of the year.
