Harrods is selling what is claimed to be the most advanced television in the world, and which is certainly one of the most expensive.
The Saturn from UK firm Vivadi comes with a 46in plasma screen, DVD player and recorder, 200GB personal video recorder, audio server and a PC running Windows XP Media Centre. The base unit costs £15,999 but the 600W speakers will set you back an additional £7,999.
"This is the first time that anyone has produced such a future-proof integrated TV and hi-fi that combines the full range of home cinema and PC functions," said Vivadi managing director Paul Roberts.
The unit is designed so that individual components can be removed and upgraded over time.
