Cedardata has signed an option for a consideration of #300,000 in cash to acquire Qualtech, which sells measurement software for call centres. If the company exercises the option, it will cost it up to #7 million until the Year 2000, depending on Qualtech's profits. Cedardata has also taken out a similar option for a maximum #3 million for Leicester Systems, which owns the intellectual property to Qualtech's software outside of the UK.
