Iona Technologies has maintained consistent growth for its fiscal 1997 year, which ended on 31 December 1997.
For the fourth quarter, the firm, which sells object request brokers, saw revenues increase 118 per cent to $16.1 million, although it made a loss of $270,000, after a one-off $2.9 million charge related to an acquisition of technology.
Last year, the firm made profits of $1.5 million. For the year end, Iona saw sales rise by 129 per cent to $48.6 million, while profits grew to $7.2 million from $1.5 million in the year ago period.
