A global network service for public carriers and Internet service providers has been launched by switching products supplier Cascade.
Called Continuis, the service includes Caseview, an online database with a search engine, and support for ATM design, as part of its network planning and analysis toolset(NPAT).
Caseview helps customers operate and manage the network lifecycle and can be accessed via the Web. It enables customers to submit problem reports and track the status of their case, viewing all the technical answers. Cascade also confirmed it will integrate Rockwell Semiconductor Systems? 56Kbps modem technology into its AX800 and AX1600 access switches.
