BT is to merge its Concert services arm with AT&T's World Partners alliance.
According to weekend reports both companies have been locked in discussions to merge the units, but have delayed signing on the dotted line because of AT&T's $48 million acquisition of cable company TCI last week.
World Partners has been described as a loose alliance of global telcos with links in the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland. AT&T is a prime player through its Unisource alliance.
