Microsoft has announced its top 10 UK content providers for the 'push' technology to be included in the final release of Internet Explorer 4.0 in September.
They include the BBC, 'Financial Times', BskyB, BT's LineOne and 'Vogue' magazine. Using Microsoft's Channel Definition Format, these services will be accessible from the desktop but will update via the Internet.
Netscape will announce its content providers for its Netcaster push service at the end of August - many will be the same as Microsoft's.
