Network Associates announced a partnership with Entrust Technologies and VeriSign last week, under which Network Associates' Net Tools line of security applications will be seamlessly integrated with those companies' PKI systems. The new product line, which will begin shipping in December, will offer full support for Entrust's and VeriSign's varieties of X.509 certificates, as well as Network Associates' own PGP certificates. In addition, Network Associates will introduce a universal public-key infrastructure server that will allow customers to establish their own PKI compatible with each format.
