UK firm SDS has launched Corpranet, a Web-based management tool enabling users to create intranet applications for the sharing of corporate information.
The software is designed for large firms with a large number of departments, branch offices and far flung networks. Corpranet can be used to create applications for customer support systems, helpdesks, Ecommerce and status tracking. The information managed by the system is accessible through standard Web browsers and can be made available to users within the organisation on a selective basis. A company spokesman said a Corpranet Lite edition is likely to cost around #5,000, with a Corpranet Enterprise product at #25,000.
