IP network provider Verizon Business has launched a new suite of services designed to aid firms' network access control (NAC) implementations.
The vendor's managed security services arm, Verizon Business Security Solutions, will provide consultants who will sit down with customers and establish the best application of NAC according to their individual requirements.
Verizon will then select a NAC provider, design the infrastructure, configure and install the NAC technology and provide training to the customer, the company said.
"The adoption of professional services focused on NAC engagements, product evaluations … and the option of adopting managed services, will accelerate the maturation of the NAC market and create additional peace of mind for organisations adopting the technology," said Andrew Braunberg, research director at analyst firm Current Analysis, in a statement supporting the release.
