Former Oracle UK managing director, Mike Harrison, has taken over as chief of Cedar-data, a UK supplier of financial management software.
Harrison left Oracle in early 1995 to become European vice president at rival database vendor Informix. Last week he announced he is to take over from Cedardata's founder and current managing director, Leon Fattal.
"I inherit a very sound company with significant future opportunities and a strong and experienced team to maximise them," commented Harrison.
Fattal added: "Mike's proven management skills and established record for achieving growth are precisely what is required."
Cedardata's flagship product is Cfacs, commercial and financial management software for Oracle databases.
