Network Associates has continued on its acquisition trail by agreeing to buy anti-hacking firm Secure Networks for an undisclosed fee. Network Associates, a specialist in firewall and intrusion detection integration, was formed by the merger of McAfee and Network General and has recently acquired Pretty Good Privacy and Trusted Information Systems. Secure Networks supplies software which tests network vulnerability to attacks from hacking.
