Network Imaging has announced the sale of its French subsidiary Dorotech to SER Systeme of Germany. Network Imaging did not discuss the terms of the deal, but claimed it would eliminate $6.5 million of debt, retire $1.5 million in goodwill and produce a gain of approximately $900,000.
Network Imaging said it is working with SER Systeme on an agreement under which Dorotech would continue to resell Network Imaging software products.
Network Imaging develops software for the management of documents and multimedia content. The company recently posted its Q3 results, showing a net loss of $4,6 million on turnover of $9.9 million. SER produces document management systems and banking applications.
Dorotech employs about 100 people and had turnover of FFr91 million (#9.29 million) in 1995.
