The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is working on recommendations for dealing with the growing problem of trademark disputes over Internet domain names.
The WIPO will collect public comments to develop a plan that will addresses the disputes at a global level. These recommendations will then be passed to the new organisation being formed under the direction of the US government, to manage the Internet domain name system.
