Look out for Liquid Audio, a new Californian company which is about to unveil its realtime Internet radio system of the same name. The sound quality is little short of superb, thanks to a linkup with Dolby Labs, which brought us Dolby B, C and S on our cassette decks. Over a 14.4kbps modem link, the sound is almost up to CD standards.
