AT&T and Lycos have officially unveiled their joint Web service, offering Internet access with a new 'portal' site as the default home page.
The service, called Lycos Online Powered by AT&T Worldnet, offers US users 150 hours of Internet access per month at a special trial price of $12.95 per month for the first three months. After the introductory period, users will be charged $19.95 per month.
AT&T launched a similar service with Lycos? portal rival Excite last month (see Newswire 12 June) and plans to launch a third with Infoseek.
