The US Federal Trade Commission has banned a man for life from conducting business on the Internet.
In the first move of its kind, Craig Lee Hare, alias Danny Hare, was banned for making up to $30,000 by claiming to sell non-existent new and used computers through online auction sites.
Curiously, Hare was not forced to pay any fine or to reimburse the conned customers while the online auction houses used were not charged.
