Computer Associates and its partner, Euro-Prisma Group of the Netherlands, have set up the first authorised competency centre in Asia for CA's Unicenter TNG system management product.
The Bangalore based centre will train IT professionals as Certified Unicenter TNG Engineers, enabling them to implement TNG solutions for CA clients worldwide.
The centre will employ 120 Unicenter experts by March 1999.
The facility will also act as a regional support resource for Unicenter clients in south Asia and the Far East. Many of these currently have their problems referred across many time zones to US headquarters.
CA and Euro-Prisma Group will work together to provide training on implementation, applications and best practice, and to run the helpdesk.
