UK telco Energis has launched an international Frame Relay service covering 47 business destinations in North America, Europe, Australasia and the Pacific Rim.
The service is an extension of the company?s national Frame Relay network, built primarily along the National Grid?s electricity infrastructure, and will enable businesses to transmit data between sites both in the UK and abroad at bandwidths ranging from 64Kbps to 2Mbps.

According to figures from the Frame Relay Forum, 31 per cent of major UK companies have connections to corporate sites in more than one country. This compares with 20 per cent amongst major German companies.
