Dell has started selling its cheapest computer to date at $999, despite adamantly denying at the start of March that it would enter the sub $1,000 market.
According to US reports, Dell is offering a Dimension PC running Intel's 333MHz processor and sporting 32Mb of memory and 6.4Gb of disk storage. Without a monitor, the price falls to $839.
