Microsoft unveiled the latest version of its 'Designed for Microsoft Back Office' logo scheme for Windows NT 5.0, Back Office 5.0 and Office 2000 (formerly version 9.0) at its Teched developers conference in New Orleans.
To qualify for the new moniker, applications must support the Active Directory technology on which NT 5.0 is based, the WBEM systems management application programming interfaces, Microsoft?s Oledb data access mechanism, its Windows Installer fast install program, and the Microsoft Management Console.
