CompuServe officials have left the on-line gaint to start up a new venture called Sift.
The new company will be headed by CompuServe's former European general manager Andrew Gray. "Sift has been formed to deliver industry-specific information services to very narrow groups of business professionals," said Gray The company will launch its services by February with announcements on the businesses it will cover in November. "For most it's very difficult to find the information they really want. Sift will do the hard work for them."
