IBM is poised to launch its own Windows CE device, according to recent reports.
Although the company is unable to confirm the launch, details of the new machine are already being talked about in the industry.
The device, which is expected to link to Lotus Notes, will have an 8.2-inch VGA screen and weigh only 2.5 pounds, but does not yet have a price or a name.
The company already has a handheld computer based on 3Com?s Palm OS.
