Lotus has refused to comment on when it will ditch cc:mail, but has admitted that it will make no further enhancements to the product.
Eileen Rudden, senior vice president of Lotus' communications group, said at Lotusphere today: "The only announcements we are making on this subject is that we'll continue to support cc:mail users through 2001. However, we have not yet set a final date for discontinuation of it."
She continued that the only enhancements to the product would be to make it easier for users upgrade to Notes and Domino, but further announcements were scheduled to follow later in the year.
