This week, Compuware's NuMega Lab will announce the first products and suites to be made available in the UK since the company was taken over last December. NuMega TrueTime, which is already available for Visual Basic programmers, is now available in a Java and C++ Edition in the UK. The product is designed to automatically locate performance bottlenecks and help developers to deliver fast Java applications for the enterprise and the Internet. Both editions cost #309. Also available is NuMega DevPartner (#489) for Visual C++, a suite of SmartDebugging tools including TrueTime and the error detection tool BoundsChecker. A Java version of the suite will be available in August. There are also plans for additional code cover and deployment analysis tools for both suites. Upgrades will be made available under the company's SmartSubscription Programme.
