Cisco takes Danish Belle to the party
by Linda Leung
Cisco is providing Internet Service Providers and telecos with customisable billing through a development with Belle Systems, a Danish accounting software supplier.
Belle's Internet Management System brings together information from distributed Cisco routers to allow operators to bill by usage, time, bandwidth allocation and distance.
"The ability to control differentiated billing will be one of the biggest challenges for ISPs in the future," said Hasse Rasmussen, managing director of Belle Systems.
